Hello world,

That's it. We had so many questions, requests and threats that we finally gave up.

"You should make your own t-shirts. They would be awesome."

"Do you have any Altitude t-shirts I could wear?"

"I will tattoo your logo on my chest if you don't send me an Altitude t-shirt now!!"

Our answer:

Well, we've done it. For the 2009 Montreal Outdoor Festival, we decided that we would all be wearing an Altitude Sports t-shirt. So far, the comments have been quite encouraging.

First, the t-shirt is made by Blank, a Montreal-based company who thinks green at every step. Locally made with an american cotton tread that needs less pesticides to produce,  the company also complies with Canada's environmental standards. Blank is proudly made locally and defends values that we share and deem important.

Secondly, the design is made by Bifurk. Well, these guys have simply got it. They've helped us with everything here including web design, newsletters, videos, and even improving our skills at foosball and NHL2009. Since developing long-term relationships with our partners is essential to us, we thought that this fact was noteworthy. But hey, they are also very talented.

Finally, the essence of the t-shirt. Well, for those who know us, we think the design is quite self-explanatory but maybe it's worth explaining a bit more. By the end of June, we will be present in 3 different locations: 2 stores in Montreal (Altitude Sports on St-Denis street and La boutique The North Face on Sherbrooke West) and 1 store in the Mont-Tremblant area (a concept store opened with our partners The North Face, Arcteryx and Icebreaker) to be opened on June 25th! But even if we are happily rooted in these lovely cities, we are also connected to many other places due to our website!

Our online relationships have been growing for the past 8 years and we have had the chance to engage with outdoor enthusiasts from all around the world. Hence, we find ourselves making links between the biggest cities and the most remote areas of the world. Inspired by our favorite music tour t-shirts, we thought our t-shirt should say that enjoying the great outdoors, travels and getting to know our world a bit better is something beyond geography, nationality or language, just like music and love.

Ok. Let's stop the lyrical slide and let's see the t-shirt on real people.  So far, we have printed a few for the Altitude team. Let us know what you think and if it is positive, we will print more.
