June 22, 2009New Concept stores in Mont-Tremblant!

Hey,

A few readers have noticed that we were talking in our recent posts about a store opening in Mont-Tremblant. You wanted to know more about this store. Well here is the latest news regarding our new Concept stores by Altitude-sports.com opened since June 25th!

For the last few years, we have noticed that a few brands really caught the attention of our customers. You wanted to see every single product and color available and you knew, some *ahem* rare times, even more about the brand than we actually did. The North Face, Arc'teryx and Icebreaker, for example, carry a wide selection of products that we were unable to completely display at Altitude Sports, our store in Montreal. Even if we were really happy to specially order the missing item for you, we understood that having a wider selection of these products would simply give you more choice.

The Mont-Tremblant area has always been an interesting spot for us. First, it seems the area was simply designed for us outdoor enthusiasts. You can drive there and do all kinds of sports all year long: skiing, canoeing, camping, mountain and road biking, climbing at la Montagne d'Argent. Then, you can spend some quality time in the amazing spas, B&Bs, pubs and excellent restaurants. And for the gamblers, you can even visit the new casino. Let's just say we know what to do when we go up to Mont-Tremblant.

We wanted an excuse to go up more often and, in the meantime give you more concentrated access to your favorite brands, so we decided to open a store. Our Concept stores by Altitude-sports.com will include 3 shops dedicated to The North Face, Arcteryx and Icebreaker. You will now be able to see most of these 3 brands in one place, just before heading out on your next adventure.

We will be posting more details later.. invitations will be sent.. and a launch party to be announced, indeed! The opening should be around June 25th so stay tuned!
