Arc’teryx. Arc’teryx Women’s A2B Hardshell Blazer Review

I ride my bike to work, and I hate sacrificing style for comfort. Even more, I hate arriving at business meetings dressed head-to-toe in bright blue GORE-TEX® just because it’s raining. I want an everyday, fool-proof jacket that looks as good as it performs. This is why I love the A2B Hardshell Blazer from Arc’teryx.

Arc’teryx is known for crafting beautiful technical garments that fit incredibly well, and the A2B Hardshell Blazer does not disappoint. I have worn it with pants and dresses, to meetings and parties, on and off my bike. Every time, someone says, “Where did you get your jacket? I love it!”

At first glance, you would never know the A2B Hardshell Blazer is windproof, waterproof and breathable. Made of a new three-layer GORE-TEX® fabric with GORE® C-KNIT™ backer technology, it is noticeably softer, suppler and lighter weight than other GORE-TEX® jackets. It is also very comfortable and does not restrict movement.

The A2B Hardshell Blazer has many well-hidden features. Instead of a zipper, it has a row of snaps down the front that secure all the way shut and channel water away from the main jacket opening.

It also has two zippered side pockets that are so well integrated into the design they are almost invisible. Combine that with shoulder vents and stowable reflective hits on the cuffs and collar, and you have one incredibly stylish and efficient piece of commuting gear.

The A2B Hardshell Blazer is now a core staple of my wardrobe. Given the quality of the design and fabric, I am sure to have it for years.

Keep an eye out for the Arc’teryx Women’s A2B Hardshell Blazer in Arc’teryx’s Spring 2017 collection.
