Camping, Hiking & Trekking. Free Admission to all Parks Canada Places From Coast-to-Coast in 2017

With 2017 being the 150th anniversary of Confederation, Canada is celebrating by offering the 2017 Discovery Pass. This particular pass will grant you free admission for the entire year to all Parks Canada places from the East Coast to the West Coast.

The pass is obviously free and the hope is to encourage Canadians to get out there and experience the beauty that their country has to offer. Grab the family and plan some fun outings and discover new places you’ve never been before or enjoy some of your favourites free of charge.

In order to be granted free admission, you must present the National Discovery Pass which is available to order on Parks Canada website. The pass can either be hung from the rear-view mirror of the vehicle you are travelling in or can be placed on the front driver side dashboard facing up. If you are traveling in a group, it is not necessary to have multiple passes, as long as everyone is arriving in the same vehicle together, the pass applies to all the passengers.

It is important to note that the pass does not include camping fees so if you are hoping to camp at one of the locations, you will have to pay for any camping fees.

The National Discovery Pass is the perfect Christmas gift for the explorers in your family or a gift to the entire family. Share the gift of adventure and spend some time appreciating the beauty of Canada in 2017.
