The pros are:
The cons are:
In the peak of the summer heat, I left the Hydro Flask with ice water (4 cubes) in my car for 3 hours. Cruel I know, but when returning my water was still icy cold with 4 very small ice cubes remaining.
Another unintentional test, I made tea before bedtime and forgot about it. Approximately 7 hours later, I was pleasantly surprised to find it was still warm and could still be enjoyed hours later.
Finally, the drop test. Also unintentional, I’ve likely dropped or banged this bottle too many times to count and it has handled the abuse well and only received a few surface scratches to show for it.
Another observation for the musically inclined, the bottle resonates at a “D” note. A small detail, but a source of amusement after spending too much time in the wilderness… I digress.
I most often use this bottle for day to day use, both hot and cold beverages. It works well for outdoor activities but is likely too heavy for extended hiking trips. This Hydro Flask is perfect for day trips, at your desk, the gym, or in a vehicle for quick hydration on the go.
Overall, the Hydro Flask performs well, is comfortable in the hand, and easy to drink from. It does everything it’s meant to, and is stylish to boot!
