To keep my lower body dry while on the mountain I always wear my Norrøna Tamok Gore-Tex pants. They’re a sleek, waterproof pair of snow pants for all types of adventures. I’ve used my Tamok pants for everything from splitboarding to shoveling out the driveway.

The pros are:
The cons are:
Not only are these Tamok pants fully Gore-Tex, but they also adjust super easy around the waist to fit me perfectly with or without a belt.
With five external pockets, I have tons of room to carry extra things like snacks, tools and devices. The stretchy inner pocket on the right-hand side is great for holding my phone in one place while I ride!
Norrøna knows that these pants aren’t only going to be used for casual riding so they included leg vents on the inner legs as well as by the thighs on the outside. The vents are definitely appreciated on those long hikes in the backcountry or between runs at my snowboardcross competitions.
On top of all that, the Tamok pants have snow tight boot gaiters and buttons around the waist so that you can button the powder skirt of your Norrøna jacket directly to your pants! That’s the best way to stay dry and warm in that blower powder.
Overall I’m super happy with my Norrøna Tamok Gore-Tex pants. They do exactly what I expect them to do. Keeping me dry, warm, comfy and looking professional at competitions. I would give these a 9.5 out of 10 because nothing can be perfect but these pants are pretty close!
