Some people like to have a different bag for every occasion: work, school, travels and outdoor activities. Personally, I like to use the same one to do everything – or almost everything. If you are like me and carry the same one around everyday, you better choose it well!
Even if I decided to go with a North Face bag three years ago, I debated for a long time between The North Face and Osprey. They also have a great selection! They recently came out with tons of awesome new bags. Here’s a suggestion of 3 different types that could for sure fit all of your needs!
Ozone Day Pack 24
Capacity: 24 liters
The Ozone Day Pack 24 is a part of the Ultra Lightweight from Osprey. With its expandable side pockets, laptop compartment and easy to organize frontal panel, it also has special features like locking zippers and an adjustable hips belt – that you can actually remove from the bag.
Capacity: 16 or 18 liters
The Talon 18 is a more technical bag. With its fixed top pocket, it is ideal for everyday activities, as much as day hikes or even trail running. An interesting particularity of the bag is its BioStretch Mc belt, that adapts to your body type. A little bonus: an external hydration compartment, perfect if you plan on getting off the beaten paths for a while.
Manta 20 with Reservoir
Capacity: 20 liters
Part of the Manta Serie, the Manta 20 is the most compact of its kind. I would say that this is the small bag in wich we can find the most surprises in, from Osprey. You get a comfortable BioStretch harness, its own rain-cover, a space reserved for sunglasses, an expandable front pocket and a 3 liters reservoir for liquids. Not bad for the size!
