This season I got to wear the Peak Performance Flat Black Teton ski Jacket. I have to say, the most impressive feature and a statement by far for this jacket is its accurate rating of 100% waterproof and 100% Windproof.

The pros are:
The cons are:
When others were defined by their garbage bags fashion I was staying dry and warm in my Peak Performance jacket on and off the mountain. Not only was I able to stay dry but once the rain stopped I was amazed at how quickly it dried off. I’ve never been able to say that about any other jacket, seriously.
The comfort of the Teton jacket forced me into wearing it every day! It became my “commuter”, on the hill, to the store, to work and whatever adventure presented itself. It just filled out all my needs and it looks great!
My favourite feature for the Teton jacket was the high neckline and XL hood. The hood is large enough to fit over your helmet, the visor comes out enough to keep the gnarly weather away and in my case served me wonderfully as an airport face cover up when trying to catch up on some zzz’s!
The Teton ski jacket is loaded with great perks such as underarm zipper ventilation, a powder snow skirt, wrist gaiter, goggle wipe in the upper pocket, plenty of outer and inner pockets and elastic drawstrings to make the jacket fit to you.
Last but not least, the jacket is longer in the back than the front, finally! No more cold air up my back.
Not many negatives here, perhaps it could be a little narrower for the fit and a tad warmer. Although in the springtime, I will be happy when I just have to take layers off over changing jacket.
