They say that there is always a first time for everything and, in my case, my time to do all of the above came when we got to the Masai Mara.
The Masai Mara is a 1510 km2 national reserve situated to the west of Kenya, which is renowned for the number and diversity of its wildlife. As soon as I found out that it was possible to fly over it in a hot-air-balloon, I knew it would be one of the “culminating” experiences of our trip...and I was right!
